The dinner and breakfast were generous and very good; it would be nice to have a mirror in the bath.

The staff gave us plenty of tips about the nearby sea and local events, and everyone was really nice. Dinner let us enjoy local dishes like salt‑cured fish and fresh squid sashimi, with generous portions that left us very satisfied. The parking felt chaotic, cars just sitting there without guidance; directing guests from the back would make it easier to park. The inn is clean but undeniably a bit old.

We were blown away by the stunning views from our room, which offered a perfect blend of the beach and Karatsu Castle. The location was ideal, with the castle and former Takatori Residence just a short stroll away, and the beach right on our doorstep. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, from helping us navigate the local area to adapting the menu to suit our tastes. We even got to try some delicious local specialties, including squid sashimi and dorade cooked to perfection.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meals at this place, and the cozy atmosphere was a big plus. However, we did find the narrow entrance a bit of a letdown, and a larger parking lot would have been a nice touch.

The food here was absolutely delicious, whether it was breakfast or dinner. However, the narrow road leading into the parking lot was a bit of a hassle.
