When I travel, having a private bathroom and a kitchen is essential, and this accommodation delivered that perfectly; the bathroom is comfortable, and the kitchen comes with all necessary appliances, especially the fridge that cools and freezes super fast. It’s also a huge plus that it’s super close to the beach, shops, and various eateries. We stayed in September, which is supposed to be the rainy season, so the weather wasn’t overly hot, yet the nights were incredibly hot. Even with two fans, the small room wasn’t enough on some days. If you’re sensitive to heat, you might want to pay for air conditioning or look for a place that has it. Also, when we were there, three construction sites were on the same street; they stopped at 8 pm but started again at 7 am, which is annoying if you’re not an early riser. It’s not the property’s fault, but there was no warning or comment about it.

The staff were responsive and the location was good, plus the price was fair. The only downside is there’s no AC, but it’s cheaper, so I can’t really complain.

The spot is close to bars, restaurants, and the sea, but the owner’s attitude was awful; when we asked for help with a situation, he showed no willingness to assist. The place has no air conditioning, making it hard to sleep in the heat.

The location near the main street and activities is the best part, and the rooms and kitchen are comfortable. I appreciate that Roman, the host, was very responsive and always tried to help with our requests. He’s also welcoming and friendly. I recommend this place at La Punta de Zicatela. I wish the rooms had A/C; it’s uncomfortable to sleep at night if you’re not used to that temperature. The fans helped but weren’t enough for us.
