The rooms were clean, modern, and the pool was easy to reach. The spot was decent, with cafés and restaurants within walking distance, and the Monday night market faced the hotel. Overall, the stay was comfortable. The pool was often dirty with leaves and bugs and could use better upkeep. The gym was tiny with very limited equipment. Breakfast was average, offering fewer options on quieter days. The free bicycles were old, uncomfortable, and needed replacement. The hotel missed the small touches and atmosphere that would make us want to return; we’d probably pick somewhere else next time.

The reception said hello only once at arrival, never a smile, no one to greet or help with luggage. The breakfast on Friday morning was mediocre, with few choices, no fruit, yogurt, or variety; Saturday morning was better. After two nights I went out to smoke at 4:30–5 am; no one was at the reception, no guard, no secure card for the elevator—a first for Thailand. All power outlets were loose, making it hard to charge phones, and there were no non‑slip mats in the showers. Only double‑bed rooms were available despite the hotel being empty, and it never deserved a 4‑star rating with so few staff. Aside from the porter and breakfast staff, who were friendly, I was eager to leave at 8:30 am on Saturday. My Thai wife had never seen anything like this either. The hotel was unreachable by phone and email, and the service quality was mediocre.
