The location is quiet, though you need to know how to drive on winding roads to get there, yet the road itself is well kept. From there you can head straight into the cirque for a hike. The welcome was friendly and the dinner was excellent, made with local produce and a genuine sense of Creole cooking – digestible and very appetizing. The breakfast, however, could be better: the bread tasted flat and the spread didn’t match the otherwise good hostelry standards.
