At least the room stayed quiet, but the entry was unsettling, there was no staff, and there were too many keys and doors; it wasn’t particularly clean or comfortable, the shower had a plastic curtain, there was no reception team, and the website listed a €4 city tax per person when I knew it was €2.

The proximity to the city center and the quiet courtyard with outdoor seating were positives, but the breakfast was modest and the immediate surroundings of the accommodation could be better maintained.

The location was excellent, close to the center and historic sites in Palermo; the staff were friendly and helpful, the place was very quiet, the rooms were spacious with comfortable beds, the breakfast was typically Italian and sweeter, though cheese and ham were also offered.

The spot was perfect for enjoying Palermo, but like in all big cities, parking is difficult.
