The landscape and weather were nice, but the inn was neglected; its gardens were in disrepair and the pool was full of leaves when we arrived.

The restaurant food was excellent, which was the redeeming factor; the room was very bad, with old, uncomfortable pillows, a dusty bed, a hard, old mattress, and overall a terrible experience.

The surroundings are wonderful, the rooms are very comfortable with views of the hill, and the owners’ service is excellent—nothing that I didn’t love.
