“Beautifully decorated hotel in a very quiet location”
The room was lovely, with a very comfortable bed and pillow—hard to find in Japan sometimes—and beautiful decor. It was quite spacious and had a balcony that offered a lovely view of the sea. It’s a great spot if you’re after something quiet and off the beaten track. The location is about a 20‑minute drive from the main town, and we could only check in between 3 pm and 7 pm because no one was there after that. The bar and breakfast weren’t available for our stay. The rooftop pool is really a jacuzzi and was empty while we were there. The room has a bath with jacuzzi jets, but it’s a standard bath size. The name is a little misleading—it doesn’t really have resort facilities.
“お忍び”
It was quiet and perfect for a solo secret getaway; the staff wisely gave me space, and apart from the broken rooftop pool and the jet‑bath in my room, I’d give it a full 100 points.
The mattress gave great support and felt comfortable, the terrace offered an uninterrupted sea view and the bathtub’s massage function was an unexpected delight that really energized the whole trip, but keep in mind the reception only opens at 3 pm and there’s no early check‑in.
“便利だけど静かな滞在が可能な穴場的石垣島のホテル”
The room was spacious and the rooftop offered a beautiful view of the stars, while the location struck a good balance between airport, town and beach access and remained quiet; there were nearby shops selling sashimi, side dishes and soba, the unit included both a washing machine and a dryer, and parking was easy to manage. The only downsides were a slightly high humidity level in the room (the dehumidifier helped), the lack of beach gear such as parasols, a limited selection of complimentary drinks, the sauna and large bath requiring a 2–3 hour preparation window, the absence of a mini‑kitchen (the hotel provides no food service at all), and the fact that a single chair and café‑style table would have suited me better than the sofa and oversized table.
