“Not as advertised, beware!”

The view was good, but it wasn’t as advertised, the room was noisy next to Main Street, unfinished and uncomfortable, the staff were not very accommodating, and there was no hot tub, which was supposed to be an outstanding feature.

“Tinha potencial, mas foi menos do que decepcionante”

The location was great, close to the historic center, and they preserved the building’s historic façade while the interior felt brand new. Because we couldn’t have breakfast on the tour, they left a food and drink package for us. When we arrived, the showers had no hot water and the bathroom was very dirty; there was a nail in the bed. Between midnight and 2:00 am a construction crew was drilling and hammering right below our room, so we couldn’t sleep at all, even though we’d already told them we’d be leaving at 3:00 am for a trip. They also charged us an extra fee for a higher hotel conversion rate that day. Overall, a bad experience.

“Excelente ubicación y servicio impecable”

I stayed at Hotel Rosa Mistika Inn for two nights and it was a solid stay. The spot is a major perk: just minutes from Arequipa’s Plaza de Armas and close to many restaurants and shops. The front desk was quick and the staff were very friendly, always ready to give suggestions. The room was spacious with a comfy bed, everything clean and well kept. The Wi‑Fi worked flawlessly, even during peak times. All in all, it’s worth the price and I’d recommend it for couples or families.

“Agradable y buen precio”

The accommodation was comfortable and still being upgraded; I hope they bring in a good designer soon because it has potential. The downside was the lack of comfort in the common areas.
