Located a 5-minute walk from Kaikoura Beach, A1 Kaikoura Motel features free WiFi and communal areas including a shared kitchen. The motel is a 2-minute walk from the City Centre and a 4-minute drive from Kaikoura Golf Club. Pet-friendly rooms are available, excluding the one-bedroom suite, family suite, and three-bedroom suite, with some rooms offering a fully-equipped kitchen and private bathroom.

The room was spacious—one double bed in the lounge and two single beds in the room. The kitchen was fully equipped, so we could cook breakfast. They always cleaned the room daily and changed our towels when requested. The location is a short walk to town, with restaurants and a nearby beach. The view from the back was also amazing! We have a designated parking spot for our rental car. 10/10 would recommend. Sometimes, because it’s near the road, it can be noisy, but we got used to it. Nothing else. It’s a really good accommodation.

The accommodation was comfortable and had everything we needed, and the beach and town were within walking distance; the Wi‑Fi was a little wonky at first but was fixed quickly, thanks for that.

I slept in a cozy room that was nicely furnished and the spot was great, but the curtains in the bathroom had a bit of mold and the lower part of the shower walls also looked moldy.
