We booked the apartment with a private bathroom and it was “decent.” If you’re traveling as a couple and snag a private‑bathroom unit, know that the curtain over the large window doesn’t close properly, so we had to buy stickers to block it. It’s a bit away from the center (15‑20 minutes on foot) and the street gets noisy, especially on weekends. There’s no air conditioning, just a fan that’s bigger than a boat (I still felt the heat). The bathroom’s window can’t be closed, so you can’t exit without being seen from the street. The reception was a shock: the receptionist was on a platform with a club bag on the roof and loud music, but our room was on the first floor so we avoided that. We realized it’s a hotel aimed at young people who want to mingle.

The room was gorgeous, super comfortable with plenty of space and all the essentials, everything spotless, the bed was comfy, and the ventilation was great—I loved it and would definitely return. Everything else was fine.

The spot is great, right near Avenida Liberdade, restaurants, cafés and everything else. The double room with ensuite was cramped for two and lacked basic comforts—no towel racks or shelves for shampoo, creams, or other toiletries. The exterior-facing window had frosted glass that let outsiders see shadows, compromising privacy, and one bathroom wall was completely transparent glass. Cleaning and trash removal were ignored even when requested. I know it’s a hostel and not a luxury hotel, but privacy, hygiene and basic comfort are essential, so I wouldn’t stay here again.

A lovely place to stay with friendly staff and a great vibe; each floor has a fridge and kitchen, which is handy if you need to store food. The location is a bit off from my usual spot, but that won’t stop me from staying again because Uber and Bolt are cheap in Lisbon and there’s a metro and many buses nearby. The room is fairly small—just a bed and wardrobe, not much room to move around, but it’s enough for a short stay.
