“Charming inn with wonderfully accommodating staff, in a convenient village in Cotswold!”
The property has real character, a small restaurant, a bar out and in-doors and a small inn (5 rooms). A mix of old and new - stone walls, interesting old window and door fixtures but a modern bathroom. Somewhat like a visit to the Prancing Pony from the Lord of the Rings, except more comfortable. It was exciting to learn that Professor Tolkien had stayed here!. Given that the Bell Inn is predominantly a bar, there is some noise outside the rooms in the courtyard, but it did not last much past 9 pm when we were there, so not really a problem for us
