There was no breakfast. For the $538 I paid for two nights, the owner should have provided towels and bedding (or at least a simple breakfast). I consider the price exorbitant (though I knew that beforehand and wasn’t misled). I was upset that we were put in the back room, which looked out onto a dirty, muddy backyard, had a water tank on the floor full of mold and dirt, and had patched floors and walls. I’ve stayed elsewhere for far less money and with breakfast. The owner could have put us in a front room; I didn’t understand why we were placed in the back room and felt bad about it. Never again! The back backyard was muddy and dirty, the water tank on the floor was full of mold and dirt, and the floors and walls were patched. The price was outrageously high.

“Prestou o serviço direitinho”

Because it was high season, the price was a bit higher, especially since they didn’t offer breakfast, bed linens, towels, toilet paper, soap, or shampoo. On the other hand, there was plenty of space for a single person, with a fridge, stove, cutlery, a small kettle, and drying racks… so it was worth it. Iracema was a 10/10 for me, from start to finish, attentive and with great tips on where to eat and how to get around the city. They didn’t provide what I mentioned above, but that’s the policy of the place. Also, the parking lot was close to my room, which caused a lot of loud conversation until late.
