The cabin felt really cosy and tucked away, and everything inside matched the photos – well‑equipped and comfortable. The downside was the lack of any signal or Wi‑Fi, and the gravel drive from the main road was longer than expected. We almost got lost until a local girl from the campsite pointed us in the right direction.

Nestled in the bush, the cabin offers a stunning, quiet spot and is nicely constructed – the surrounding scenery is gorgeous. Inside it could have used a good spring clean; there were plenty of cobwebs and no reception, so I wished I’d brought a DVD player for night entertainment. Overall a beautiful hideaway that needs a bit more upkeep.

“Perfect little getaway”

The cabin was simply amazing – it had everything we could think of and then some, making the stay super comfortable.

“Don’t do it. Find somewhere else”

Finding the place was a nightmare; the maps led us to a junkyard and a construction site surrounded by tents and caravans, with no signage to guide us. We ended up driving down a narrow dirt road, got stuck in the bush, and couldn't reach anyone on the listed phone number, so we abandoned the trip and looked for elsewhere.

The spot is lovely, set among trees with the Blackwood River just 20 m from the porch, which makes for a pleasant view. Unfortunately the mosquito net over the bed was full of dead insects that dropped onto the mattress, and the nearby campsite was noisy all day and night, ruining the peace we hoped for.
