The spot is great, though you have to drive over a short rough road to reach it, and the views of the lake and Rusinga island are excellent; the breakfast, however, could have been better.

The location is unbeatable, the staff are outstanding, and the Kenyan food experience is truly authentic; I loved it here and will definitely return.

The staff were adorable, friendly, and extremely helpful, arranging a day trip to the nearby national park in less than a day with a guide and driver at an unbeatable price, and the sunsets over the lake were stunning, though the neighbor’s dog sometimes barked at night.
