“Agradable”
The location is solid, yet the parking is inconvenient, the room feels cramped, and the floor on which the room sits is not ideal.

Sombra del Agua, a historic 1907 monument in San Cristóbal de Las Casas, offers a unique experience with modern and elegant facilities. The hotel is a 2-minute walk to La Paz Square and Central Park, amidst the city's charming colonial architecture. Tarumba restaurant serves an origin-based menu, blending traditional flavors with spiritual essence. Service hours are 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

The restaurant, the location, and the overall aesthetic are nice, but the noise is overwhelming—everything from the street to other rooms can be heard, making it hard to rest.

Breakfast was splendid and the staff across all areas were very helpful and nice people, but walking with luggage on the street was slightly uncomfortable because of high curbs that slip in the rain.

The hotel is hygienic, tidy, and the staff friendly, but breakfast isn’t included despite the high price; there is a paid option at the hotel restaurant.

This is my favourite hotel in San Cristobal and I come here once or twice a year on a buying trip. I would never stay anywhere else. It is beautiful, clean, has character, is stylish, the lush inner courtyard garden with tranquil nature sounds is restful, the staff are lovely, the location is perrrrrrfect, the attached restaurant is tasty.I love it!
