“Hier zahlt man für den Namen”
The room was the highlight of our stay – spacious, modern, and superbly sound‑proofed; even when a neighbor’s music could be heard from the hallway, nothing came through from our side. The evening programme was nice, and the view from the 16th floor was great. Each pool had something for everyone, and we liked the convenient proximity to the supermarket and various restaurants. The iced teas and cocktails tasted very good. I cannot agree with the positive comments about breakfast. The photos look appealing, but everything served is consistently cold or at best lukewarm, even when freshly plated. The potato wedges are dry, the vegetables too oily, and the frozen fruit is inedible. No salad dressings are available. The coffee at breakfast is terrible, though the bar serves good coffee. Overall, breakfast feels chaotic and disorganized, making for a bad start to the day every morning. At lunch we tried a restaurant, but €15 is simply too much for dry chicken with a handful of bland, tossed‑together fries. We decided not to try dinner at the hotel again. Many of the hotel’s offerings feel overpriced – the spa, photo sessions, and the Hard Rock shop all seem to charge for the name alone; a fair price would be half that. “All‑inclusive” is really just a discount on food and drinks. The parking lot is extremely tight, and every time we tried to park it was a struggle, especially when other guests parked beyond the lines, making it impossible to fit in.
