Everything was great. Nothing to complain about.

We were welcomed warmly at the Patterdale hotel, and every staff member was attentive without being intrusive. Restaurant service was especially good. The hotel sits in a wonderful spot, tucked away amid stunning Lake District scenery. The only downside was the small TV, and it was hard to keep the shower at a constant temperature.

Breakfast was a good choice and the staff were lovely. The staircase décor felt a bit dated, and there was no lift.
