“Casa de huéspedes aceptable”
The spot was great because it was close to the event I attended. The room and bed were comfortable, the room was clean and met all my needs for my trip to Isla Mujeres. I do know it’s a guesthouse, but I didn’t like that the bathroom was across the hallway from the room. The shower had no curtain, so when I bathed all the water ran onto the floor. My room was at the house entrance, and some guests stayed until about 3 am with music on the porch. I wasn’t going to confront them because I’m tolerant and fall asleep easily, but they didn’t even lower the volume a bit, and the house staff didn’t comment either.
