The location is great. The room is comfortable (including the bed) even though it’s very small. You can climb the wall staircase to the mezzanine, where there’s another bed. The host’s assistant, Kristina, was very friendly. The host was also busy with other guests. Kristina was absent for several days, and when the host handled check‑in and check‑out, it was a complete mess. I also asked the host to help move my suitcase up the very steep stairs, and he said to ask the maid, but the maid said she wasn’t hired. I had to haul it up myself on a shaky adrenaline rush. The rooms were dark with poor lighting; I had to wipe the inside of the windows, and the outside ones were all covered in cobwebs. There were dust piles under the bed. The stairs were steep. From the street, my room (304) had loud traffic noise, and there was zero sound insulation from the neighboring room.

A quiet place, convenient location, friendly staff. The pillow was an issue.

“Un lugar auténtico en el centro de la ciudad.”

The staff were flexible enough to accommodate us outside the check‑in hours. We had a kitchenette with a microwave, electric kettle, and fridge in the room. The door lock didn’t work well; I struggled every time to close it and wasn’t sure I had it locked. The stairwell to the second bed (wooden loft) was dangerous, about 2.5 m high, and I was scared to climb it.

We liked the pool with lotus flowers and carp, and the convenient location. The downside was the climb up the high, narrow stairs to the third floor and the light sensor that turns on when you’re at the very top step; you need a flashlight to avoid falling. It seemed tidy, but there was a lot of dust and cobwebs hanging from the garlands, so more frequent cleaning would help.
