The unit was clean. For a self‑catering unit, you’d expect a large fridge, but only a bar fridge was provided. When you book a self‑catering unit you bring food, and a bar fridge isn’t big enough. There were no lamps by the bed; instead, a vase with a lampshade was used to look like a lamp. On the other side there was a candle, posing a fire risk.

I was blown away by how awesome the place was—everything I needed was there and the room matched the pictures exactly. No complaints at all.

The location was good and the bedding was clean, the bed itself was comfortable. However, the place feels very neglected; it needs a thorough cleanup. The handwash bottle was empty, the shower hadn't been cleaned properly from the previous guest—there were pubic hairs in it. The couches need vacuuming, the kitchen requires a serious clean, especially the drawers, cupboards, cutlery, dishes, etc. The grater was rusted. The bed throw was being used as a carpet at the edge of the bed and was extremely slippery and dangerous. The gate, which apparently runs on solar power, wasn’t working, so I had to keep opening and closing it manually. The pool and garden also need servicing.
