The bed was very comfortable and the location was great.

The portraits of the people, staff, and owner in the stairwell show a special connection to the hotel. The beds could be improved in terms of mattress and upper bed, and an insect screen over a window would be nice so you could leave the window open for ventilation.

The hotel is very central and the staff are very friendly. The room was simple and quite narrow.

A nice hotel in Calw right in the old town, with an antique exterior and a very modern interior. Paying 80 € for a tiny single room feels excessive and I wouldn’t book it again.
