Because a typhoon was approaching, I was disappointed that I couldn’t see the sunrise I was looking forward to. The hot spring and the front desk staff were good, though 😊.

The hotel sits right next to the sea, so you can literally walk to the beach and even see it from your room. The rooms are huge and come with everything you could possibly need. The building feels a bit old, yet it offers all modern conveniences and that traditional vibe actually enhances the experience. The staff are very friendly and eager to help with anything. A shuttle bus runs to the station, and the road from the station down to the hotel is all downhill, making it easy to get there without a car. The onsen is a bit small and old‑fashioned, but the view is spectacular. They give you a list of nearby dining spots, but most of them require a car to reach. There are a few decent places close by, so it’s not a major issue.
