Breakfast was more than enough—perfect for a day at the beach without needing extra food. The beds were very comfortable, everything needed for a great stay was there, and the host was very welcoming and helpful. It would have been nice if the apartment could be fully darkened.

The owner was exceptionally kind, the dog and cat were friendly, and the place was quiet and peaceful. The house is large and very clean, breakfast was delicious, and it’s only about a 10‑minute drive to Alkmaar. The town itself is charming with a lovely old town, and the beach is about 20 minutes away; there are several large, sandy beaches. I highly recommend staying at De Indiaan and we’ll definitely come back. The only downside was the kitchen’s limited equipment—there was no large bowl for the grill and salad, and the plates were a bit small. Most of all, the bed was an issue: two mattresses next to each other made it feel unstable at night, which was annoying.

The location is quiet, the space is great, the room is fully equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, and a terrace overlooking fields, cows, and sheep. Breakfast is very extensive and changes every day. Air conditioning is available and can be set to hot or cold. There are two electric stoves and a cooking plate. Above all, the host is incredibly friendly and helpful.
