“Looks good but be very careful what you expect”

The only bright spot was the location. We were there for the Bedfordshire Steam Rally and felt we weren’t treated as fair‑paying customers because of this. They claim the place is a restaurant, not a pub… you can’t even feel welcome just wanting to enjoy a drink, and people walked out because of this. I won’t be back. The self‑service continental breakfast, for the price, should have been cooked by the restaurant. I have no idea how long it had been in the room before we ate it 18 hrs later… The dust was everywhere. The evening service attitude was off; one staff hovered over us all through the meal and even tried to take my plate away while I went to the loo. I didn’t enjoy the experience and felt pressured the whole time. Will not return.

“Just a really nice weekend away.”

The room we had was lovely, a chalet in the gardens, very cosy. We ate in the pub/restaurant, the service was very good and the food was very good too. It was a little cramped in the chalet, but that would not stop us from booking again.

I’ve stayed there a couple of times, and it’s always great. When I arrived they were serving Sunday lunch, and even though they were busy, they still found me a table. Highly recommend.

“Fantastic”

Lovely chalet, with everything and more you needed. The items left for breakfast were superb and more than expected. The staff were wonderful and really helpful. Fantastic value for money and I would highly recommend it. Nothing

Great spot. Very clean. Breakfast was good with a lot of choice. Will definitely recommend and will be returning.
