“Building is full of undesirable people, rubbish at the front door, room was clean kitchen is bad”
Not many highlights, but the communal kitchen, small room, and small bed were the main drawbacks.

The room and bathroom were clean, the bed comfy, and the shared kitchen/living area was lovely; staff communication was good and they explained how to retrieve the card for room access, plus you could pay extra to delay check‑out. However, the corridors to the room felt a bit dodgy and less maintained, the kitchenette was unusable because of a sign, and the overall vibe felt very student‑like, which might not suit more mature guests.

Inside the property was clean and simply furnished, and the fan was essential during the recent heatwave. Outside, however, the communal corridors were littered with rubbish, and the lack of clear apartment markings almost let someone enter my room at 11.55 pm. Heavy doors with automatic closing mechanisms made a loud noise at night, and the bare furnishings made it crucial to observe the “quiet after 10 pm” rule; I could hear people moving and chatting between 12.30 am and the potential intruder. The external street door was left open several times, compromising security. The shower room’s internal location meant the extractor fan had to run long after the light was on, and someone had turned the isolator switch off before I entered, leading to damp and silverfish in the bathroom – the extractor was very noisy.

The location is great for Leeds centre, the place is nice, warm, with comfy beds and plenty of space. The outside signage didn’t match the name, so finding the building took a while. I didn’t realize it was a shared lounge, though no one else joined us; it just made us wonder. A bit more cleaning and polishing would have helped.

It was good and had everything we needed, except the remote didn’t work because the batteries needed replacing.
