DELUXE ATHOS 50 Garden Patio Benalmádena Golf & Beach

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at Deluxe Studio Athos! The location is superb, just a 5‑minute walk from the beach, shops, restaurants, and Lidl. The studio sits in a very quiet area, perfect for unwinding. The shared pool is immaculate and offers plenty of sun loungers. The owners live on site, are incredibly welcoming and helpful, always ready to greet guests at any hour. The garden patio is charming, with ample space to sit, dine, or have a drink. There’s also a barbecue, though we didn’t use it. Free street parking is another plus. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful, comfortable stay near everything, and we’d gladly return.

I cleaned up the place, it had a washing machine and a Lidl nearby. The host claimed there was parking inside, but there wasn’t, so I had to park far away, and the building has a wild, cage‑like entrance with many doors that you have to watch out for when you leave or enter the apartment. Everything else was far from the beach and the city center.

“Better than hotels around”

The hosts were fantastic and the location worked perfectly for us because we were working during the day and could head out for dinner in the evenings. It was ideal for concentrating and staying away from noise and distractions while still being close to Lidl, bars, the beach, etc.

We were asked to verify our residential address and had to sign all recorded information, which felt a bit intrusive.

The apartment was newly renovated, spotless, and all furnishings were new. It sits 0.5 km from the beach and restaurants, and the Torremolinos‑Fuge bus stop and several shops are nearby. The venues on the Costa de Benalmádena are a 30‑minute walk away. We could park our car in a side street that was still within sight. The surroundings, with a terrace, garden, and a swimming pool (not usable in February), were absolutely gorgeous. The mattresses were very soft—apparently typical in Spain—but could be made firmer with extra pillows. Nothing negative.
