The location is perfect and the rooms are very spacious, yet the carpets have a distinct odor.

great location! the common areas are extremely beautiful, and I really appreciate the historical value of this hotel to Los Angeles. - the rooms are mid at best albeit being very clean (appliances are old and not super well maintained - I understand since the building is old, but I am not sure if the overall quality of the stay really guarantees the 4 star, if that makes sense) - I was under the impression that I would get free breakfast buffet, but found that I was charged for it
