Given the price, I would have appreciated the hotel providing toothpaste and a toothbrush.

Segredo Uluwatu features a sun terrace, lush garden, and year-round outdoor pool. The hotel offers free public WiFi, private check-in/check-out, and daily housekeeping. Located 15 km from Ngurah Rai International Airport, it's a 13-minute walk from Impossible Beach, with Uluwatu Temple (5 km) and Garuda Wisnu Kencana (9 km) nearby, offering a convenient and service-rich stay in Kuta Selatan.

The staff were exceptional, always helpful and attentive, available at any hour and offering great recommendations for tours, drivers, transport, and restaurants. They handled all the trip logistics and were the real highlight of the property. The location is flawless, close to excellent restaurants and cafés, and only a few minutes’ walk from the beaches—ideal for exploring the area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The only drawback is the limited leisure area, though that hardly affects the stay since you spend most of your time on the beaches and excursions in Uluwatu. The photos on Booking give the impression of a more upscale, grander hotel than it actually is, so expectations should be adjusted. The price is a bit higher than what the hotel delivers (though still within the expected range for Uluwatu, which is a pricier region). A suggestion for improvement would be to add blackout curtains to the rooms, which would greatly enhance sleep comfort.

Kleine parel in Uluwatu.

The room design was beautiful. I can’t understand the negative comments that have been posted. It was very quiet. They arranged a transfer for us whenever we wanted, and the vehicle was very clean. The location is very central, but Uluwatu in general has winding roads and steep slopes; even though the distance seems short, walking is hardly feasible.

It’s a super economical option for a weekend stay. Everything was fine; we were warned about party noise, but since we came from the city it wasn’t as bad as other reviews suggest. There was a little noise, but it ended by 23:00, and I slept great. There are also many good cafés and restaurants nearby. The only downside was that the bathroom could have had a door instead of curtains. The most annoying part was the dangerous alley you have to walk through to get to the building or to the city—every time we wondered if we could make it across safely because traffic was heavy and nothing was visible after the turn.
