“Uppleasent place to stay. This time. I know it is a motel. But come on.”
The front desk staff were friendly, but I had a major issue with my room: I needed a ground‑floor ADA room because I have a large service dog and can't use stairs. I booked an ADA room, called at 11 am that morning, and confirmed a ground‑floor room for my late check‑in at 8:30 pm. When I arrived, the desk told me the only single‑bed ADA rooms were on the second floor, and all ground‑floor single beds were taken. I politely said a second‑floor room wouldn't work, and the staff reluctantly offered me a two‑bed ground‑floor room that lacked a walk‑in shower. I accepted but was unhappy. The room was near the pool, not near parking, and the rest of my stay was plagued by loud people, items thrown from above, stair‑climbing guests, door‑knocking, nighttime calls, and even someone trying to hit me and my dog in the parking lot. I had to unplug the phone.
