It was overall value for money, since it was one of the most affordable accommodations in Malta. Also the hostess was way too explainable (sometimes too much). Firstly there were some weird instructions from the hostess, for example she told us to empty the bin that was filled with AC water because the AC water would fall to the street and this is illegal. So we had to keep in mind all the time to empty the water bin and this made us not to be away from the apartment for too many hours. We believe that this shouldn't be the client's problem. Secondly, there was a teddy bear (that was dirty) sitting in one of the pillows. Also the fan was extremely dirty. Last but not least as I said before, the hostess was extremely spamming all day with messages giving meaningless instructions. We know that she wanted to keep everything smooth and to support us but we think that this was too much. Also there were notes with instructions everywhere.
“Worst host I've ever seen”
Good location. The location and price of this place deserves an 8, but with this host, the place is 1.0. Some of her actions: - Urge you to connect with her on WhatsApp so she could send 30+ messages about unnecessary instructions to get to the place and other random instructions, but absolutely no instructions on where your room is. - Very late check-in time (6pm) compared to normal standard. She explained that because it takes 3 hours to clean the place and the room. You'd expect a spotless place, but no, it looks like it's been cleaned for 30 minutes. Floor is sticky, dirty knife in the cabinet. - You are not allowed to take your room keys outside of the house (!!!) - The room, kitchen, and bathroom are FULL of instructions explaining what you need to do, all with extremely odd wordings. "tips for *intelligent* men and women, brush your hair and then collect the hair that falls", "don't fold used towels", etc. All of these can be put in normal, nice wordings, but she chose extremely annoying words. Other details about the room you might miss: - No hair dryer, so if you are a woman, well, no washing hair at night after a long day. - Bathroom is completely separated from bedroom and is always have to be locked

Localisation. Une expérience très décevante. La configuration du logement est assez particulière : la salle de bain, pourtant privative, est située dans la cuisine. Il faut donc traverser toute la cuisine pour accéder à sa salle de bain, ce qui manque clairement d’intimité et n’est pas très agréable. Il faisait extrêmement chaud dans la cuisine comme dans la salle de bain, sans climatisation. La propreté était également loin d’être satisfaisante. Certains couverts étaient sales, avec encore des restes d’aliments dessus. De manière générale, nous n’avons pas trouvé le logement particulièrement propre. Il y avait beaucoup de petites bestioles sur le carrelage de la salle de bain à cause de la chaleur. La communication avec la propriétaire a également été particulièrement pesante. Nous avons été harcelés de messages sur WhatsApp dès la semaine précédant notre arrivée, avec énormément d’informations et de consignes inutiles. Je n’ai pas apprécié que la propriétaire crée un groupe WhatsApp réunissant l’ensemble des occupants, permettant ainsi à chacun d’avoir accès au numéro de téléphone des autres. Dans le logement, il y a de nombreuses consignes, il était notamment demandé de se brosser ses cheveux dans la salle de bain. L’accumulation de ces règles donne vraiment l’impression d’être constamment surveillé et rend le séjour désagréable. Enfin, le jour de notre arrivée, nous souhaitions simplement déposer nos valises le matin. Nous avons dû attendre environ 15 minutes devant la porte avant d’obtenir le code d’accès, la propriétaire étant au travail. Le code aurait pu être communiqué à l’avance, mais la propriétaire n’a pas voulu. Nous avons donc dû attendre devant la porte alors que la propriétaire était parfaitement au courant. Nous ne recommandons pas particulièrement cet hébergement ou alors c’est vraiment pour 1 nuit en dépannage
