The Editory Garden Porto Hotel

The hotel was about 5‑10 minutes from the nearest bus stop or metro station. Few amenities were nearby, but we were told about a good restaurant and found a nice café. Breakfast offered a good selection of continental and cooked options. All staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful, and most spoke very good English. The walk from the metro with luggage was a bit tough, especially for those with mobility issues. When we arrived, the room was too warm and the air‑con took a while to cool it down.

We booked last minute after another prepaid option fell through, and we’re thrilled we ended up here. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and kind. The room was clean, spacious enough for two, and very chic. The location was also great—just a 15‑minute walk to the city center. All in all, a very pleasant stay and a great last‑minute find!

“Really enjoyed the Hotel”

The facility was lovely, and I really enjoyed the courtyard. Check‑in was friendly, and the bar and service staff were very nice. However, it was hard to get drinks during happy hour because the bartender and other staff were busy preparing for dinner service on the other side and weren’t available at the bar.

It’s a nice hotel in a pleasant, quiet spot. The centre is within walking distance, and at the same time the hotel provides a space to unwind.

The room was very good and comfortable, offering complimentary water and coffee every day. The beds were cozy and there was a smart TV. The bathroom was spacious, very functional, and came with high‑quality amenities. The bar could stay open later each day, but that wouldn’t hurt the experience.
