Everything was awesome… living daily with Clarisse and the two adorable four‑legged companions. The vibe was easy and charming, everyday life shared, even walks with locals feeding my curiosity. Thanks a ton for the endless rich conversations. Pure joy that made the somewhat rainy weather forgettable and I’m already looking forward to the next trip to the Marquesas together. My 5‑day stay ended too quickly.

We were welcomed superbly and generously by Clarisse, who did everything possible to show us every side of Raivavae. The bungalows are snugly tucked into the greenery and the breakfasts and dinners are superb, with local fruit and island produce.

Clarisse nous a accueilli comme si on rentrait à la maison . Le bungalow est top et que dire de la cuisine de Clarisse … un vrai délice . elle nous a gâté et encore merci pour le gâteau au chocolat et mousse mangue 😋une petite caresse à Hiro et Choupinette . Nous avons fait le motu piscine accompagnés de Clarisse et nous avons adoré ! Et que dire du pic nique sur la plage 😍je recommande Clarisse

Clarisse’s welcome and her good breakfasts and dinners. She managed to let us taste the culinary specialties of the Australes. The lagoon view from the bungalows. The motu pool day with Clarisse. Sharing a May holiday day with her and the island parishioners. On Raivavae there’s no option for lunch outside the guesthouse: no snack or cart. The grocery store is sparsely stocked.
