“Solamente vale la ubicación. No volvería”

The only good thing was the location; the place smelled terribly of damp and sewage coming from the bathroom, maintenance was clearly lacking, and we had to request toilet paper and hand towels that never arrived. The photos were misleading and the space was cramped. The listing should have warned that the owner shares the boat with other tenants; it’s not a whole property, just a portion.

The spot was fairly central and staying on a boat was a nice experience, but the TV was dead and there was no remote. The area was noisy at night, and the sound carried through the whole place.

Atmosphere Location. We visited during a period of remodeling or all scores would have been 100. There were piles of construction debris on the deck and remodeling taking place, upon arrival. The construction stopped shortly after arrival. One carpenter returned, hours later, to take the debris out to the curb. Unfortunately, during our romantic sunset time. However, he was a very friendly gentleman and we enjoyed speaking with him. He even offered to take a picture of us. We also had trouble with the toilet suction from the first attempted flush and had to use neighboring public facilities during our stay. This most likely was attributed to the remodeling too since we saw pvc piping amongst the debris in the piles. Work on the plumbing began at 8:00am the next morning. Let it be known, that if we ever booked here again and knew we would have to contend with these same circumstances.we would probably still make the reservation. That's how great we think this lodging is. From a very welcoming and highly responsive owner sharing her enchanting property and facilitating a unique perspective on Amsterdam from the water's edge. “I would 100% recommend staying here to get the perfect Amsterdam experience.”

The houseboat’s location was perfect and it was charming, especially being right on the canal. The space was tight, as expected for a boat, and it got a bit noisy at night, but it was ideal for a short stay.
