The staff were friendly, helpful and polite; the room was clean and cleaned daily, spacious, with a lovely and comfortable bed. The building itself looks a bit dilapidated and could use some modernising and refreshing.

Never stayed in anything like that in my life; I took a video as I was getting my money back, and everything was absolutely rotten.

The stay was fine, but the WiFi was poor.

I was greeted in a dirty space by a person in a stained tracksuit, and the room had no real window—just a small hatch overlooking a cramped area littered with cigarette butts, giving off unpleasant smells. The carpet was heavily soiled, and I regretted booking; I would have left otherwise.

Cheap and cheerful lodging near Queens Park Rec Grounds and Hampden for gigs, but the key for our room wouldn’t open the main door after reception closed; luckily someone else arriving at the same time could unlock it.
