The location is great, right on the beach with sea views from the balcony, the staff are very friendly and the service is excellent, and the price is reasonable for the value. The bed isn’t great, and while breakfast was good, there could have been more options.

The spot’s location is superb, the sea view is brilliant and interesting, and it really offers good value for money. The only flaw is that the shower head is fixed.

I already knew where I was headed after staying elsewhere in Birzebbuga 18 months earlier, so I went for the view and a quieter spot; I wasn’t disappointed. Getting to the airport by bus is easy, though the schedules can be erratic, but the slower pace is worth it. I wish I’d stayed longer. Being next to the Freeport added a cool element – the ships and lights were fascinating, and Friday night bingo by the sea was a treat. There are plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, and a Starbucks nearby, and the waterfront redevelopment is fantastic. Everything was great.

The hotel sits right next to the beach, the rooms are spacious with great views, it’s clean, and the staff are friendly. Nearby you’ll find a seaside promenade, shops, and bus stops that connect to other parts of Malta.

The location is good with a fantastic view, but the room was only passably clean and had dirty or broken fixtures.
