The breakfast room and the coffee shop at the entrance are a very nice space with lovely staff. The breakfast itself was a highlight. The room was large and quiet. However, the rooms and hallways could use some softer touches to feel more like a family hotel and less like a business hotel.

The entrance area from the covered shopping street and the lobby are very well designed. The lobby also serves breakfast, or you can prepare small items at any time. For breakfast you can choose an option that can be complemented by a small buffet of salad, fruit, yogurt, and cake. Everything is carefully and appetizingly presented. The staff are friendly and very attentive. The contrast between the stylish entrance/lobby and the room could not be greater. I can’t remember the last time I stayed in such a small, thought‑less room. I found it especially annoying that 1) there were no individual lights or bedside lamps, 2) a huge, bright green emergency exit light hung over the outer door, forcing the inner door to stay tightly shut, and 3) a glaring motion sensor light would immediately turn on when moving from the room to the bathroom. In short, you were bathed in bright light at night when you went to the toilet.

The staff were very helpful and genuinely nice, which fit perfectly. The rooms, however, were somehow not really finished, and when they were finished, they were poorly designed. For example, there was a bathtub but no shower curtain, so the bathroom was always under water. There was only one small towel holder and the sink dripped constantly. The light for the whole room could only be controlled from the other end of the room, which was a challenge at night. The beds were tiny, and like everywhere in Korea, there was only one duvet.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel sits very close to the train station, but the noise from upstairs during the middle of the night was a bit annoying.

The location is great, right across from the station, and because the hotel is new everything feels fresh and comfortable; the staff are also very nice.
