The bedding, the spacious room, and the buffet breakfast were plentiful, varied, and fresh, and the meal itself was fine. However, the location was a bit off and the street view was even worse. At check‑in we were not told that the chilled drinks in the fridge were free, and there was no bottle opener in the room, so we had to buy a drink from room service. Additionally, for our pets there were no bowls or welcome treats, even though other Mercure properties offer those for guests.
