“Good for a night.”
For a single night as a stop‑over, it was passable, but the place feels very basic for what it charges. Other spots nearby offer better value, and the breakfast quality slipped each day.

I booked a deluxe double but ended up in a basic room; the photos shown for the deluxe are misleading. The next morning a shower leak flooded the bathroom and bedroom, leaving me without hot water the whole stay and with weak water pressure. When I raised the issue, Owner Christina was rude and threatened legal action if I posted a review—quite intimidating.

The staff were super friendly and warm.

The rooms were large and well equipped, and the garden was lovingly tended with many blooming tropical plants. Joshua was very open, approachable, and helpful. However, the location was far from what was described; according to the map and directions it seemed central in Arusha, but in reality it was about 10 km outside, which was a real annoyance.

The place was quiet and the food delicious. The map provided by Booking shows the hotel next to the golf course, but in reality Christina House is several kilometres east, making it impossible to walk to Arusha centre. The owner is odd.
