I stayed here while visiting the Buddhist holy site of Sarnath, and the location is very convenient for that purpose, yet the place felt poorly organized and staff were not always available to attend to guests; we also had problems with the hot water, which made the stay less comfortable.

A superb accommodation run by a lovely family, rare in Varanasi; if you want privacy with the comfort of being close to locals, come here! They are very helpful and accommodating, and the food is exquisite, but remember you are far from the city center and will need some time to reach it by tuk‑tuk; the neighborhood is quiet and very interesting.

Clean and welcoming spot, away from Varanasi’s chaos yet easily reachable by tuk‑tuk! Mohit and his family make you feel at home.
