Convenient, room comfortable, good cooling on a warm day. Bathroom a little grungy. Also, doesn't seem as nice as when I used to stay here several nights a week for weeks during clinicals. The breakfast used to be top notch and now is so basic like any other generic hotel. Also, no pool anymore! Had I known no pool in advance, I'd have paid more for another hotel for sure

The staff were friendly and the lake was easy to reach, but the pool and hot tub were closed because the staff said they were “bull dozing it down” on July 10th. I was told my room was hand‑capped assembled, yet it wasn’t; there were no grab bars or anything else for accessibility.

The place is spotless and offers great value, just a short walk from Marquette beaches and the scenic pull‑out spots on 28 and 41, and the rooms are all newly renovated. The check‑in process was a bit unusual: they required scanning IDs for every guest over 21, which I hadn’t encountered before, and we had to complete two separate transactions for the two rooms we booked.

The price was good and the rooms were clean, but the ice machine didn’t have any ice.
