“Gute Unterkunft an perfekter Lage für ins Hochland”

It’s a good, simple place in a perfect spot for heading into the Highlands. The room is a bit small and the bed is against the wall, making it a bit awkward for a second person to get into bed. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Plenty of free parking in front of the building. A perfect starting point for the Highlands. The room size, bed against the wall, and the fact that the toilet and shower could be used at the same time would be better; the price‑performance ratio is a bit high compared to similar places.

“Een herberg in de middle of nowhere”

The friendly atmosphere in the hotel and with the staff is great; you can relax in the lobby, do some computer work, grab a bite, or just watch people. The room is absolutely cramped, it feels like a ship cabin in size, just enough to sleep and shower, but nothing more.

The location lets you reach Landmannalaugar in about an hour by car. The beds are very comfortable. For a spot so far from any civilization, it offers everything you could expect.
