“A stop by”

The rooms were large with comfortable beds and a modern bathroom, and the breakfast was excellent. However, there was no fridge and no water boiler for coffee and tea in the room—two things I definitely would expect in such a hotel. Coffee and tea were also not available in the lobby after dinner, or if they were, no one pointed them out to us. The staff could have been more formal; wasn't it a manor that hosted us? I would advise against wearing hoodies at the reception.

The food was great, and everything else was fantastic. I do count the golf course as a facility, and even though it was really fun and well maintained, the greens were VERY slow. Nice but sluggish, which explains the lower rating for facilities. But given the low green fee, the course was absolutely incredible, far beyond expectations, and I will definitely return. The greens were a bit too slow, and better signage between holes was needed; I got lost several times, for example one of the few signs with directions pointed the wrong way. Other than that, everything was fine.
