The location was perfect.
“Buen lugar para unas noches”
The location and staff were good. The room details were lacking and the shower was in bad condition.
“NU RECOMAND”
They make you sign a waiver before you even arrive that says once you’ve checked in they won’t return any money if you’re unhappy. The room was filthy and the bathroom stank terribly; there isn’t even a proper door, just a sliding PVC panel that lets the odor drift into the bedroom. The fixtures were rusty, so you could easily scrape yourself and end up in the hospital. The wall behind the bed was grimy, and the towels were the cheap beach‑type ones, not a normal white towel for drying after a shower. At night the noise from the live‑music terrace downstairs was overwhelming. The staff refused any refund, even though I paid for five nights and only stayed one. I would not recommend this place at all.
“A cobrança em cima da própria moeda é imprópria.”
The only thing that worked was the location. My experience at this hotel was very disappointing right from the start. Receptionist Tânia was polite, but I couldn’t get her to understand that she shouldn’t charge me 8% on my cash payment in Dominican pesos (DPC), so that part fell short. The room was very hot, the toilet didn’t work, and my husband had to fix it. Another negative point was the charges: there was a lack of transparency in the currency conversion and unexpected surcharges, which made me feel overcharged. For a tourist destination, this should have been handled with much more clarity and professionalism. Unfortunately, I don’t recommend staying here and I wouldn’t return.
“Satisfechos”
Very well located, close to the beach and minimarkets. Excellent service from Tania, she is a very kind and attentive person. I would definitely stay there again.
