The location was fabulous and the scenery amazing, and the food was great, but the bed wasn’t comfortable, the room was very warm, and because it’s beside the road traffic noise was a problem.

The staff were all so friendly and nothing was a problem; the service by all floor staff and bar staff was excellent, and the food was really good—nothing else.

The hotel is really beautiful in a gorgeous location, the staff were so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, and the Guinness pints were great!

A friendly receptionist welcomed us, explained breakfast options, and pointed out the best walking routes, setting the tone for a great stay. The Smokehouse served fantastic food cooked exactly as we requested, and the staff were attentive and very helpful. No complaints.

The location and atmosphere were stunning, giving the hotel a genuinely authentic feel. However, tap water was not drinkable, so we had to rely on unlimited free bottled water, which was eventually provided.
