“Beautifully appointed country inn, in a wonderful location.”

The place is in a beautiful spot, with a lovely old‑world feel that’s been modernised, plus a fantastic patio and a lawned beer garden. The rooms are also great, and the food is tasty. The only downside is that you can hear a bit of noise from the rear patio if your room is at the back, but that’s not a big deal. If you want extra quiet, ask for a front‑side room (not sure if they have a second floor).

The rooms were very tastefully decorated. The pub was cozy and inviting. The food and drinks were delicious and the staff were very attentive. We were thrilled and will gladly return.

The ribeye and red wine were wonderful, and the cheese board was perfect. The breakfast was the best we’ve had in a while. I’ll definitely stay again. Huge thanks to all the staff.

“A lovely little village and there are excellent views from behind the pub.”

The food was good, especially breakfast, and the staff were helpful. Our room was small and the ground‑floor window faced the street, so we couldn’t open it at night. The thick quilt made it a hot night. The biggest issue was the bathroom door hinge that closed automatically, making the door heavy and hard to manage, and the light switch was inside, so you needed two hands to open the door, which made it tough to carry anything. The shower was good, and the bedroom and bathroom were clean and well serviced.

The atmosphere is exceptional. The people are really kind and the rooms have been renovated while keeping the traditional style. Two extra positives: the food is very good, and when the weather is nice the terrace is amazing.
