“Un peu cher pour la prestation”

The room cost 109 € and was old and small, yet still comfortable. When I went to the pool I asked if the sauna could be turned on, but they told me the spa wasn’t working and that it was an optional add‑on; I still wanted it, but it wasn’t possible. At the front desk they said there were bathrobes for the pool, but there were none. I expected a more generous breakfast; there were no scrambled or fried eggs, only hard‑boiled ones, no bacon or sausage, just cold cuts, which feels underwhelming for the hotel’s advertised standard. The reception staff were not very pleasant. I didn’t eat at the restaurant, so I can’t comment on that.

The restaurant was nicely presented and tasty! Because there were few guests, the place was quiet, but you could still hear the staff’s heated conversations and the décor wasn’t very discreet. The bikes, scooters, and moped spaces were nice, and the lounge areas with background music were pleasant. The pool was only 25 °C, not relaxing, and the sauna was unavailable. The “fitness room” had only 2‑3 machines outside, tucked behind a pile of wood to block the wind—maybe better in summer. There was a spider web on the ceiling and a broken toilet flush, which is mediocre for a superior room. The door was hard to open, scraping the floor, and the large windows let in a lot of noise. The electric charging station cost 30 €.

“Une très belle adresse”

The hotel was clean and I liked the modern décor; I didn’t get a chance to use the pool or dine there, but maybe next time. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom and room were tidy, and the surroundings were very nice. I wished there had been a bottle of water in the room. There was a slight damp smell, probably from the surrounding vegetation and the poorly ventilated bathroom.

It was very close to the highway, which helped me pass the night during a long trip. The breakfast buffet was impeccable, offering everything needed, and the price‑quality ratio was excellent. The staff were not particularly pleasant, especially when I arrived in the evening and in the morning.
