Unfortunately, our experience with this hotel was disappointing, mainly because the staff and management handled a payment issue poorly. We appreciated the hotel’s initial willingness to accommodate our request, but the subsequent process was unnecessarily complicated, with big delays, bad communication, and no clear explanations. Even after repeated follow‑ups we were often told the matter was being handled, without any real updates or progress. Only after we formally escalated did meaningful action finally happen. What should have been a simple process turned into several weeks of needless frustration.

La localización. Es muy céntrico y está en una buena zona. The location. It's very central and in a good area. The bathrooms. I stayed in three rooms of different categories because the first one I was assigned was very small and uncomfortable. Then I stayed in a superior room, and later in a mid-range one. The bathrooms were bad in all of them. Except for the superior room, the bathrooms are crammed into a closet where you have to step up to get inside, and only one person can fit. In the last room, there was also a terrible smell coming from the bathroom. And then the light switches—in all the rooms, they are far away. You have to get out of bed to turn off the light. Even charging your phone is a nightmare

I booked an interior room, which wasn’t mentioned at the time of booking, and the bathroom had a terrible odor.

The hotel sits in a prime spot just around the corner from Parque Espana and Parque Mexico, and walking to places like Baldio, Contramar, Lardo, Odette, Tomasa, Churreria El Moro, or the Chapultepec area takes only a few minutes. A café is next door and a bar is downstairs. We chose a window room that faced the street, but the neighborhood is quiet and traffic was hardly noticeable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the whole building stayed spotless. Housekeepers came daily, so we always returned to a fresh bed and new towels after long days out. I didn’t use the lounge, so I can’t comment on that, but the elevator worked reliably and the lobby was always sparkling. I was a bit uneasy about handing my key to the front desk every time I left or returned, a practice I’d never seen before, but someone was always available around the clock, so I never lost the key and it was actually convenient. The room itself was excellent and had everything we needed, though a shelf or waterproof table in the shower would have been handy for holding shampoo and other toiletries instead of bending over to keep them on the floor.
