Situated on a quiet street, it lies a three‑minute walk from Piazza Tacito and under a kilometre from Palazzo Fabrizi and Palazzo Carrara, with easy access to public transport, nearby Roman amphitheater, Duomo, and Cascata delle Marmore.

The room was basic but comfortable and clean, equipped with a TV, fridge, Wi‑Fi, and air conditioning. Breakfast wasn’t offered, but I knew that from the booking. I only had phone conversations with the owner, who was very kind and helpful, and I called him several times for restaurant recommendations. The room is practically in the historic centre, close to the Marmore Falls, and less than an hour from cultural and religious sites like Assisi, Orvieto, Rieti, Narni, etc.

The hotel was close enough to both the historic part of Terni and the train station, and the top level of Marmore Falls is easily reachable by train. The pastry shop around the corner is the place to grab breakfast in the morning and an aperitif in the afternoon. I wish I had asked about checking in around 1:00‑1:30; Terni takes its siestas seriously and I would have liked an afternoon nap, but I didn’t ask, so that’s my fault.

It’s near the station, clean, and the owner is very welcoming; I highly recommend it.
