The staff were wonderful—friendly, attentive, remembered your name, and asked about your day while serving breakfast. The Wi‑Fi works well for most remote work or streaming if you don’t want to use the smart TV’s built‑in apps. The shower water pressure was weak; you stand in it hoping to get wet. Breakfast, though cooked well and served with a smile, was small: two rashers of bacon, one sausage, one egg, a small cup of beans, and a few slices of toast, which is smaller than the “small breakfast” option at most restaurants. The location is convenient for walking to the airport and the nearby international rail station, but it isn’t accessible on foot—you’ll need to drive or take a ride‑share to get around.

The staff were very warm and friendly, the room had all the facilities I needed, and the breakfast was excellent.

I liked how close it was to the airport and the NEC, and there was a bus but I chose an Uber that cost about £10; the single bed was on a bit of a slope.

Nigel was a very friendly host and the stay was lovely, though the breakfast could have had more items like small pieces of bacon, small sausages, mushrooms or hash browns.
