The mini smart TV was nice, the place was quiet, and we were able to drop off our gear at the ski shop earlier. However, the salt in the kitchen was dirty, there were two small face towels instead of body towels, and the floor next to the wardrobe was uneven and wobbly, shaking with every step. The mattress was uncomfortable, only suitable if you have back pain.

This old retro house feels very atmospheric. It lacks luxury, but everything is as it should be. It’s a perfect spot for a ski trip, with private parking, clean and warm rooms, and a convenient storage for skis and gear, though a heated room for ski boots, besides the dryer, would be better. The location is just a few steps from the ski lift, so you never have to drive far. When there’s plenty of snow, you can even ride your skis from the house up to the lift. Across from the house is a real bakery with delicious pastries. The owner is very friendly and pleasant.

I liked it, and we were satisfied. When we visit Harrachov again, we’ll know where to stay.
